Germany has once been the land of their dreams. But many refugees that came to the country after 2015 struggle to leave their dark pasts behind. In search of some warmth and consolation they became addicted to drugs. In order to finance their craving young men from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran or Iraq, some still under age, prostitute themselves in Berlin’s Tiergarten. The park in the heart of the city they longed for has long become their garden of lost dreams.
